FAQ

How do I apply?
As soon as registration opens you will have to fill out an online application form. After that we will review the applications. We want to be open for as many leagues as possible. This means we have to limit the number of skaters per league, depending how many apply. (E.g. last year we had to limit participation to 3 skaters and 2 refs per league.). After that the leagues can register their participants. The applications have to be filled out individually but we will consider league affiliations. If a league gets less slots than applied for the final participants will have to register.
I never took the WFTDA minimum skills test, can I come anyway?
We will not be strict about minimum skills, it's more of a guideline. We expect you to be stable enough to take part in blocking drills without being a danger to yourself and others. We just want to make clear that we do not teach basic skating. We cannot teach you how to skate in 2 days! However you cannot take part in the full contact scrimmage without minimum skills.
Why do refs have to pay the same fee?
Practiced solidarity. Also refs will receive a full training. You won't just skate around watching rollergirls hit each other.
What do I have to bring along?
Your gear, of course, everything required by WFTDA rules. Also a sleeping bag and an iso or air mattress. For scrimmages: A black and a white shirt with your number on it.
Is it possible to arrive on friday?
Yes, we will open the venue friday night after 10 p.m. so you can sleep there.
I don't speak German, is that a problem?
No, this is an international event. The classes will be held in English (and/or derby gibberish...)
I got accepted to take part but have to cancel. Can I get my money back?
